Jean Paul Nsimba (Mika) is a self-taught artist who made himself known in the Congolese art scene becoming a pupil of Cheri Samba, legitimate heir and ambassador of the popular painting school of the Congo he will work closely with the greatest artists of Kinshasa, through his first works he documents international politics and African society with subtle irony soon becomes an interpreter of the change that this movement implements starting from the 90's. In his last works he prefers very trendy portraits by putting floral wallpapers in the background, stylizing his works.
